We know that some of life’s most important and lasting lessons are learned outside of the classroom. The New Albany-Floyd County School’s vast extracurricular offerings provide outlets for students to nurture and grow their existing talents and explore new ones, while making friends with students who share their interests. With programs in the arts, athletics, clubs and community service, NAFC students have a multitude of extracurricular options that are not only fun, but also serve to develop confidence and build leadership and teamwork skills.
“Being able to choose the courses I want to take and shape my own schedule has given me a great sense of balance. I have loved Floyd Central High School…” – Beth, Senior
“What I love most about NAHS are the discussions in my AP classes. The atmosphere here allows everyone to speak their mind without worrying about what others will think; as a result I have been challenged and have learned to really think. – Brian, Junior
“Prosser has given me an opportunity to focus on my future. I have an opportunity that other students do not have; I am ready for the workforce now. How many 17 year-olds can say that?” – Matt, Prosser School of Technology
