Notice is hereby given that New Albany-Floyd County School Corporation (“NAFCS”) is requesting proposals from qualified organizations for the following work:
Science Immersion Lab Project Floyd Central Senior High School
The proposals will be received on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. (Prevailing Local Time) Proposals must be delivered to Bill Wiseheart, New Albany Floyd County School Corp., 2809 Grant Line Rd, New Albany, IN 47150, and copy via email to bwiseheart@nafcs.orgAll proposals received after that time will not be considered and returned to that submitter.
Discussions may be conducted with, and best and final offers obtained from, responsible offerors submitting proposals determined to be reasonably susceptible of being selected for award. Contracts may be made with more than one offeror whose proposals are determined to be advantageous to NAFCS, taking into consideration price and other evaluation factors set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP).
The RFP is on file at the Facilities Service Center of the NAFCS. and may also be accessed via https://www.nafcs.k12.in.us/events/ and at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1R65zuxmnKCD-u6-82JOl1hWzjz1w6dqC?usp=sharing All offerors must comply with the requirements of Ind. Code § 5-22 and as outlined in the RFP. Offerors must also be able to meet all requirements found in applicable licensing, public purchasing, and public contract statutes and regulations.
Prior to approval and execution of the contract, the responsible offeror who submits proposals determined to be reasonably susceptible of being selected for award must furnish satisfactory evidence showing evidence of financial responsibility, and it can faithfully perform the contract obligations.
NAFCS expects to award the contract for the project at its September 13, 2021, Board meeting to the responsible offeror whose proposal is determined in writing to be the most advantageous to NAFCS, taking into consideration price and the other evaluation factors set forth in the RFP. NAFCS reserves the right to hold proposals, including any alternates, for up to 60 days from the date of the opening. NAFCS reserves in its sole discretion the right to cancel the solicitation, reject any and all proposals in whole or part, delay the opening, ask for new proposals, is not obligated to accept the lowest or any other proposal, and may waive any irregularities, discrepancies, omissions, variances or informalities in the request for proposal procedure.
