Prosser Students Volunteer with Red Cross

Last week, Prosser’s health career students volunteered alongside Red Cross at a blood drive held at Prosser. Students and staff donated a total of 108 pints of blood. Thank you to all of the Red Cross workers, and student volunteers.

From New Albany to New York Yankee

More exciting news for a New Albany High School Alum. Josh Rogers has been pitcher for the University of Louisville for the past two years. Over summer, the lefty signed with the New York Yankees, and is ready to begin his major league career. Best of luck to Josh in the majors!

Floyd Central Alum wins Tony Award

The 69th Annual Tony Awards were held earlier this month. The night’s big winner, Fun Home, took home a total of six Tony Awards, including “Best Musical”. Floyd Central Alum, Danny Mefford was a part of Fun Home‘s production team, serving as the choreographer for the musical. Congratulations to Danny and everyone involved in this year’s biggest Tony winner.
