New Albany Floyd County Schools is offering Pre-K!

After you apply for NAFCS Pre-K, click here to apply for an On My Way Pre-K grant. If approved, Pre-K is FREE! Grants are given on a first-come, first-serve basis, so apply early!

General Information

    • Locations– Fairmont, Floyds Knobs, Grant Line, Green Valley, Mount Tabor, S. Ellen Jones, Slate Run, Children’s Academy Early Learning Center
    • Child must be four years old by August 1, 2022
    • 180 Days (Follows NAFCS Calendar)
    • Student Academic Day – 8:30 am-2:00 pm
    • Before and After School Care for Working Families (space is limited) 7:30-8:30am and 2:00-4:00pm
    • Transportation is not offered for this program.  You must provide transportation.

Application Requirements (space is limited on a first come-first served basis)

  • Fairmont, Floyds Knobs, and Grant Line: NAFCS Pre-K Application (linked below) required required (limited grant scholarships available)
  • Green Valley, Mt. Tabor, S. Ellen Jones, Slate Run, and CA-ELC: NAFCS Pre-K Application (linked below) AND On My Way Pre-K Application required. (OMWPK opens in march, you will be notified.) OMWPK is FREE for those who qualify; there are limited OMWPK scholarships available for those who do not qualify.  On My Way Pre-K is Indiana’s state-funded pilot administered by the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA).
