The Floyd Central Winter Guard and Winter Percussion groups recently competed in Tri-State Marching Arts Championships. Tri-state Marching Arts is an organization that serves Winter Guard, Percussion, and performance units in the Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia region.
The Floyd Central Emerald Guard B team competed at Ryle High School and won a bronze medal for their 3rd place finish.
The Floyd Central Emerald Guard A team competed at East Central High School earning the top place of Scholastic A and gold medals. On that same day at East Central, the Floyd Central Percussion Project also placed first and won gold with their show, “small stuff”.

oached by Charles Williams, Chris Dulin, Patrick Regan and Dustin Everitt. Charles Williams is in charge of the show design. The Percussion Project at Floyd Central is under the direction of Dave Isaacs who also does the show writing, music and design.
