It’s been a big year for Georgetown Elementary’s Cheryl Carroll. Earlier in the year, she was named NAFCS’ Teacher of the Year. Now, she’s the proud recipient of WHAS’ ExCel Award. The golden apple is given to those who have demonstrated dedication and excellence in teaching.
Cheryl has taught for 41 years now, 34 of which have been at Georgetown Elementary. Even years later, Carroll still sees teaching as an exciting new challenge, and she hopes to continue for years to come. Congratulations, Cheryl! We wish you many more years of success.
