C Battalion Commander, Caleigh Mclean, has accepted a direct appointment to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In the process of that acceptance, she declined an offer to the Naval Academy Prep School, a four year Navy ROTC scholarship to Purdue and scholarship offers to Ohio State, University of Kentucky and Miami of Ohio. As Captain of our nationally ranked Rifle Team, she plans to continue shooting at the Air Force Academy which is NCAA Division I competition. Cadet Mclean reports to the Air Force Academy on the 24th of June to begin summer training.
