Nathaniel Scribner Middle School's mission is to educate all students to high levels of academic performance in a safe, secure, and caring environment. 

Our school, in partnership with the community, provides opportunities that allow students to develop a positive self-image and make effective use of their diverse talents and abilities. 

Our first priority at SMS is our students’ academic achievement. We analyze student data when our sixth grade students arrive and monitor their progress through the end of their eighth grade year. We certainly appreciate and encourage all of our parents to support their student’s learning. When parents have questions or concerns, they need to contact the counselor or core team leader. Our teachers are ready to do whatever it takes to help our students achieve. Students at Scribner should be prepared to write several essays each semester this year, read and discuss many books, complete the quarterly assessments, and have lots of fun. We sincerely hope Scribner is the best learning experience our students will ever have!
